 Every time I visit New York City, I find myself drawn to the west side parks of Manhattan.

They are living testament to a time of great transformation, both personal and historical.

 

What I learned from The Power Broker by Robert Caro:

  1. The best stories win
  2. Knowledge is key
  3. Bias is expensive
  4. Be so good they can’t ignore you
  5. Be careful what you excel at
